It's a beautiful morning here at the Solutionary School! The bumble bees are loving the native Red Arrows Culver's Root! Look at all of that pollen on their hind legs! There are lots of beautiful flowers in full bloom. Look at all of the different colors! We have lots of strawberries ready to be picked! Our bird and squirrel friends get first pick and then we gather the rest. Last weekend we planted lots of different types of squash for the fall. We planted, Lakota Squash, Red Kuri Squash, Acorn Squash, Sugar Pie Pumpkins, Howden Pumpkins, Cinderella Pumpkins, Jarrahdale Pumpkins, and Jack O' Lantern Pumpkins! They've grown so big that we are going to have to repot them soon! We are anticipating the arrival of our sugar snap peas! Did you see how big our chocolate mint and lemon balm have grown? The sun is shining and the air is warm. It's a perfect day to enjoy the outdoors. We hope you enjoyed this morning's tour of the Community Garden!
